B.S. Elementary Education - Utah State University
M.Ed. Gifted/Talented Education and School Administration - Utah State University
My 25 year career started in a rural K-10 public school where I taught grades 4-6 in a multi-grade classroom. From there I transferred to another rural school where I was the K-3 classroom teacher and building principal.
After five years of working multi-grade, I became a 5th grade teacher at a laboratory school on the Utah State University campus in Logan, Utah. While teaching 5th grade, I also worked as an adjunct instructor teaching university students.
In 2012, I moved to Wyoming to work for Teton Science School and then Teton County School District #1. During my 9 years with TCSD, I have been taught computer, library and gifted students. Currently, I am honored to be the assistant principal at Colter and principal at Kelly and Moran Elementary Schools.
My husband John and I have two grown children, Whitney and Zackary. We love exploring the United States and have a goal of traveling to each of the 50 states and all of the National Parks.
